For a little bit more about me:

Short Version:Brian Carr I grew up in a three-newspaper house and became a daily newspaper reporter and editor in the Northeast. More than a decade ago I left my time-honored newspaper job to work on the web. 

Longer, Official Version:
I work at NameMedia, where I oversee the media operations. Prior to joining NameMedia, I was General Manager of Business Operations at the Terra Lycos network, overseeing partner services, reporting, customer service, advertising operations and the daily site experience for the network’s 38 million monthly unique visitors. Prior to joining Lycos, I was the Vice President and Executive Producer at CMGI’s entertainment portal, ICast.com.

I previously worked as the Director of Production and Executive Editor at Altavista.com and Deputy Managing Editor and Director of Production at CBS SportsLine.com. Prior to that I was night city editor at the Syracuse (NY) Herald-Journal, and reporter for The Patriot Ledger, Cape Cod Times, Middlesex News and was once an intern at the Boston Phoenix.  I have a B.S. from Babson College, a school consistently ranked #1 in entrepreneurship by U.S. News and World Report.
